Hi my name is Wayne Ardley.

 

I would like to welcome you to the Crazy Monkey Victoria website and thank you for taking the time to have a look at we have to offer you both in martial arts and in life skills.

 

I proudly represent and teach the Crazy Monkey Defense Program as I believe that it represents the pinnacle of modern Martial Arts training.   The skills you learn are directly applicable whether in a sporting context (boxing / kickboxing & MMA) and most importantly in the street.   The focus on a solid defensive structure allows you to feel safe, whilst deploying the techniques you need to triumph in whatever situation you may find yourself.

 

The Crazy Monkey approach to training is about fun.   We don’t so much spar as we ‘play’.   Everyone is there to help you, not to hurt you.   No meat heads will be allowed.

 

The structured training methods and progressions that can be easily tailored to suit anyone at any skill level, allow you to develop formidable martial arts skills based on what will work.

 

It is because of these things that I embraced the Crazy Monkey system.  It is by far the single best way of teaching and training in a comprehensive unarmed martial arts program that I have found in 25 years of training and searching for the perfect martial art.

 

 

My Martial arts experience includes:

In excess of 25 years martial arts experience

• Training and teaching boxing and kickboxing for over 20 years - Trained and taught under Mick Nicholls (academy of combative arts)
• 14 years of grappling experience - Associate instructor in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (Will Machado BJJ Australasia)
• Floro Fighting Systems Instructor

 I have also extensively trained in Filipino martial arts and a number of traditional martial arts.

 

Over 20 years of Law Enforcement Experience, including training Police Officers in Defensive Tactics, Conflict Resolution and Firearms Tactics
